I just used eBay for the first time yesterday!
Two days ago I posted my first ever auction on eBay to sell an original iPhone 2g.
My mom sold me her old iPhone 2g for $25.
I put it on eBay starting the auction at $50.
eBay also has a "Buy It Now" function where you can set a price that the purchaser can get the item right away without dealing with the auction.
I set the Buy It Now price at $75.
I woke up the next morning and it was sold for $75 plus the $10 I put for shipping.
I mailed it yesterday to the buyer and we will see how everything turns out.
Once I know for sure that everything went through I will re-post to let you know the profit.
