$100!

Those four bar stools sittin' in a row just sent me past the $100 mark!
I bought these from my dad who is trying to clear out the storage unit.
They cost me $25.
I sold them for $100.
Profit: 300%!
That's me getting past the $100 mark!
Thousand dollars here I come!

The Christmas Tree

Yesterday, my dad told me about some stuff he was trying to get rid of in the storage unit we filled up when we moved a while ago.
He told me about a pre-lit Christmas tree.
I jumped on it.
I bought it from him for $5 (thanks Dad!).
Sold it on Craigslist for $20.
That's a 300% profit!
Boom sauce!

Craziness!

Tis the season to be... stressed!

So unfortunately not everything has been going smoothly here at My 2 Lincolns.
The $25 Game Stop gift card I sold for $20 only ended up having $9.75 on the card.
So the guy I sold it to wanted his money back (rightly so).
Then the guy that sold it to me, Ben, was gracious enough to give me $5 back.
Stuff like this happens, Ben sold it to me thinking it had the full $25 on it.
There's not much you can do about that.
I suppose I should have checked the amount on the card before I sold it.
Anyways, I'm down $15 from where I was.
That puts me at $22.90.

Let the buying begin!

Stopped the Games

I sold the GameStop gift card.
Someone couldn't pass up the discount.
Seemed like a good Christmas gift.
So, I bought it for $5.
Sold it for $20.
That makes a profit of...
400%!!

The Jig

Yesterday, after my Facebook posts about delivering Cook Out trays with a jig for $10 I received quite a response.
I had two takers.
After some late night deliveries I ended up using my $5.18 to purchase a cook out tray.
After delivering the first I went and got another.
When the night was all said and done I made a total of $13.90!
My Profit: 168%
It's all in the jig!

Make a Choice

I present my art!
I never said I was an artist, and it shows!
Anyways, now I've got to find something to purchase with my recently acquired $5.
Any ideas?

Money Grows on Trees

I went on by the Dollar Tree to find something to spend my gold dollar on.
I had a buyer in mind so I purchased 6 coat hangers for $1.07.
I had previously sold one Tootsie Roll for $0.25.
So, that left me with $0.18, and after losing one of my Tootsie Rolls that's all I have!
Don't lose merchandise!!

I'm Stuck To Her!

Tonight I was able to find a glue buyer!
There may have been a conflict of interest in the purchase...
My girlfriend decided to purchase the glue to satiate her glueing desires!
Two glue sticks and a bottle of glue sold for a grand total of $1.00
With a $0.21 purchasing price that makes a 476.2% profit!
I now have $1.04.

Hello My Name Is: Elmer

I hope glue is big business!

Walmart!

I went over to Walmart to find something to spend my $0.25 on and I found some glue!
Apparently glue sticks in packs of two are only $0.10! Same with bottles!
Who knew glue was so cheap?
I checked out with a bottle of glue and two glue sticks for a grand total of $0.21.
The cashier gave me a big grin and said, "Big spender aren't yah?"
Now I've got to find a glue buyer.

The Quarter

After my last sale I'm still left with this one quarter.
It's a rather nice quarter. 2011 Glacier National Park Quarter.
What should I do with it?
I'm thinking I might go the Tootsie Roll route again and see how many $.25 Tootsie Rolls I can sell.

First Purchase!

I have just made my first purchase!
I just purchased this Tootsie Roll from the Candy Shop in the old student union at UNC Charlotte.
Oddly enough they sell Tootsie Rolls individually and they are $.02 a piece. Who would've guessed.
Now who can I get to buy one Tootsie Roll for more than $.02? How much can I make?
